UNKNOWN TERRITORY, Elite Guardians Capital – Lass, a well known veteran of the Elite Guardians has chosen to return to the armies leadership. We will be looking into his return to the armies leadership.
The Elite Guardians were originally proposed as a Portuguese colony for the Nachos in 2016 though the idea was later scrapped due to the announcement of Club Penguin’s shutdown. The Elite Guardians officially opened in the Club Penguin Private Server era in October of 2017, under the leadership of Cokky2 and Edu14463. Since their founding, they rose significantly, engaging in many wars, reaching great sizes and have also gone on to win several tournaments including Christmas Chaos and Around The World Cup.
The Elite Guardians returned earlier this year in January and maxed a size of 27 at their reopening event. Since then, they have participated in a few tournaments including March Madness and Summer Blitz, and have also went on hiatus for a short period.
Lass joined Club Penguin Armies in 2017 when he was recruited into the Rebel Penguin Federation though his time there was short. In 2018, he joined the Elite Guardians and remained in the army until the end of its first generation in January 2020. Lass led the Elite Guardians when they returned to the army community in 2023. Under his leadership, the Guardians established themselves as one of the strongest armies in the community and went on to win several wars as well as winning the Around The World Cup tournament.
On September 10, 2025, Lass returned to the Elite Guardians leadership.
The Small Medium Army League reached out to Lass for an interview regarding his return to the army.
What led you to make a return to the Elite Guardians leadership?
Because I want to come back to the army that made me who I am. I had to leave due to personal issues combined with internal conflicts around the HCOM, which dragged my mental too much. I am not done yet, and since most of the previous issues have been fixed, I will repay the debt of my abrupt exit.
What are your plans for the army?
Fixing most of its base structures and getting it fully operational again, able to be active across all three timezones and to hold events throughout most days of the week
Where do you see EGCP going a few months from now?
It is hard to make predictions when you don’t have a solid foundation, so we will most likely advance in a linear growth from now on as we fix our logistical issues. Either way, growing comes organically when you put on a constant effort, no matter how slow it might be.
