UNKNOWN TERRITORY, Penguins of Agartha – As of January 17, 2026, Penguins of Agartha announced a hiatus due to a lack of activity. As a result, they will not host any further events until the end of the hiatus, when they expect more people to be available. We look into the history of the army until now to understand when they could return.

Berlim created the Penguins of Agartha in April 2025. With preparation of over a month, he enabled POA as a constant presence in the small/medium army community. They participated in two early wars against the Crimson Sovereign and Void Troops. They automatically won the first conflict due to CSCP shutting down, but lost the second war in a 4-0 sweep for VT. They managed to move past the struggles, with the additions of Stv, Doopus, and Mr Potato as leaders. Additionally, they participated in the Summer Blitz, a new small/medium army tournament. They placed fourth due to the number of servers they invaded. Berlim unfortunately stepped down in September, but that didn’t affect the army too much due to the remaining leaders.

Stv, Doopus, and Mr Potato pushed the army forward until it became possible for Berlim to return later the same year. The return would occur three months later in December, due to Berlim’s nostalgia. His return marked the end of the other leaders, with Stv and Doopus both stepping down on December 25th, 2025. With Berlim’s return, POA declared another war against the Crimson Sovereign in January. This war, unlike the first war, came soon after CSCP had revived. The war resulted in a treaty before any battle between POA and CSCP occurred. POA continued hosting events, but on January 17th, 2026, Berlim announced the hiatus.

Small Medium Army League reached out to Berlim to request further information on the hiatus.

With more potential activity if former leaders come back or recruitment picks up, the Penguins of Agartha can return to the community faster than expected.
