UNKNOWN TERRITORY, Romans Capital – On September 7th, 2025, the Romans declared war on the Special Weapons and Tactics. Following a week of battles, on September 14, the Romans declared victory over SWAT.
Romans is a well known and one of the oldest Club Penguin Armies ever made, founded by Explorer777 on October 6th, 2006. In June of 2025, the army was revived, maxing an incredible size of 16 on its revival event. Since then, they have been making a lot of progress and also achieving high positions on the SMAL Top Ten, being 1st place on the monthly Top Ten of August. Recently, they joined The White Order alliance, which is currently at war with the Rebel Penguin Federation.
Romans Revival Event
On the other hand, the Special Weapons And Tactics was founded by Ganger90 in 2009, being a well known army among Club Penguin Armies. For the past few years, after its revival in 2020, The army has been actively and constantly holding events to this current day. Special Weapons and Tactics is one of the armies that is consistently appearing on the SMAL Top Ten.

On September 7th, 2025, the Romans would announce that they will officially declare war on SWAT, making both enter a state of war, and it would also be the Romans first war declaration since the revival. The Romans would officially win the war on September 14th with a score of 7-2 in favor of Romans against SWAT in their off-map war.

Why did this war Take Place?
There were a few reasons as to why this war took place. Despite our grievances against SWAT over Summer Blitz, our main goal was to see where we were as an army.
Did the war go as expected?
I’d say so, it wasn’t particularly a challenge. I noticed SWAT commander William commented on us no-showing on a few events; simply we did this because SWAT weren’t a challenge and we knew we’d win regardless. Frankly I find the no-show comments funny as there were times SWAT “showed up” with 1-2 people online.
Are you proud of Romans performance during this War?
Of course, we hit the sizes we needed to hit every time, even having 12+ online at one point. Despite our obvious size advantage we still stayed awake and I made it clear to people that we wouldn’t win on size alone.
Are there any goals Romans would like to Acheive After the war ending?
The goal is to rebuild and keep moving forward. Certain armies will continue to keep trying the same formula and failing. Our leadership is a very experienced one and we’re in the process of finding what works for us.

How do you feel about SWAT’s Performance during this war?
We definitely had highs, could’ve stood our ground better. Thanks to SPQR’s generous no-shows, we won three (3) battles by my count
What are your Plans of moving Forward After this war ended?
Ramp up recruiting, be more serious about getting people to attend, and determine optimal timings for events

This war was Interesting to say the least. Formed by many reasons, and followed by no-shows, losses, and victories, both sides did really well. However, Romans were able to secure the win and become the victor of this war, showing off their dominance. How do you feel about this war?
