We have not seen many wars from the Small/Medium army community yet this year. The community jumped up when it was seen that there was a war declaration from the Tsunamis to the Crimson Sovereign. This also resulted in a Crimson Sovereign shutdown. Let us dive deeper into this post to get more information.
The first tournament of the new year has officially concluded after two weeks of intense battles. Many armies took part in the fight for the trophy, and in the end, one army emerged above the rest.
The Club Penguin Army League and Small Medium Army League are excited to announce Qualifier & Group Stage battle information. Beginning next weekend, the first tournament of 2026 will commence, bringing exciting battles for everyone to enjoy over the next 3 weeks.
SPARKLE, SM Army League Headquarters – The second week of January has concluded with the release of the weekly Top Ten Armies. This week we saw the community gather for the Club Penguin Army League’s New Years Gathering event which saw several armies and over a hundred community members participate. We’ve also seen a significant rise in the number of armies. This week, we see a total of ten armies appear on this weeks rankings. We see a new army take the top position for the first time and also being the only army to gain positions. We also see four new armies enter the rankings for the first time and we also see a familiar face return to the top ten.
As we step into the 2026 benchmark, a series of great opportunities SMAL offers for excitement and competitiveness in the community. The Army World Cup is a new, innovative tournament brought to you by both CPAL and SMAL, in which we are excited to finally reveal.
The Small Medium Army League is excited to announce that we have merged our server map with the Club Penguin Army League to create a single unified server map.
This merger will result in the formation of the Club Penguin Armies World Map organization which will be independent from either league and whos main focus will be on managing and operating the server map. The status of the SM Army League will be that of a partner of this organization.
The unified server map introduces new rules and ideas which will hopefully make club penguin army warfare much more competitive and interesting. We have chosen to introduce the adjacent rule which will only allow armies to invade land they border and also the introduction of a seasonal map.
